It is a match to 7, and white trails 0-3 and is on roll. What is the proper cube action?

Snowie says it is not a double, and of course, it's a take. But one of the things I teach my students is that if you are on the fence about doubling, and you're not sure whether to double or not, you are better off doubling. And the reason is that you might be making a mistake if you don't double, and you might be making a mistake if you do, but there is no way for your opponent to make a mistake unless you double. In this situation, I doubled, and my opponent dropped. This is just one example of how to prove this theory.
