You are white and you have to play 3-3. Do you keep your prime or do you switch and hit him off your 3 point?
Switching if very wrong. Holding the prime gives you a very strong game in comparison...but don't feel bad if you blundered here...some of the best players in the world looked at this and they would have switched. Backgammon is simply a difficult game sometimes.
