Money game, white on roll. Should white double? Should white take?






I correctly doubled in this position, and I was taken. Glad to say I won. The point here is that yes, you might well leave a shot, but maybe you won't. If you don't leave a shot, you've got an easy win, and if you do leave a shot, he still has to hit it.

Missed this one... fear got the better part of me... would not doubling in this position be the definition of "losing your market"?

No. If you don't double, and then roll double sixes, then you have lost your market. Not doubling is simply a Simborg Blunder.
