In the position below, it is a money game and white is on roll. What is the proper cube action for both white and black?






This is, indeed, a scary looking position. White looks like he can really hurt black on the next roll...he could hit, he could cover, and maybe even do both!

In the money game I was in, white doubled here, and two players dropped. I did not think it was a double, so I took. None of us were smart enough to realize it was a beaver and white was actually an underdog here.
