Here are 2 sites that no longer accept real money players from the US.

Even though backgammon is not classed as "gambling" (it is a skill game) these two sites have barred US real money players probably because they offer more than just backgammon and therefor could get into trouble with the US law.

Many websites related to casino , gambling, poker have closed down or shifted to some other countries where gambling rules are not so strict.  |
