These archives contain the backgammon board
component images used in our annotated games.
These archives are provided to make
off-line viewing of the game files easier to accomplish.
The board component images may be used for any other purpose only with
permission
(which is usually granted,
but lets us know where the images are being used).
For permission, write to Richard.
There are 135 GIF images in the archive.

Download the
images.gz
archive.
-
Move the archive file into the folder containing the game files.
-
Unarchive the file.
A folder named Images will be created.

Open a game file (fullgame.html or game.html) in your browser.

Delete the images.gz archive file.

Download the
images.sit
archive.
-
If your system doesn't do so automatically,
use
StuffIt expander
to unarchive the file.
A folder named Images will be created.

Move the Images folder
into the folder
containing the game files.
-
Open a game file (fullgame.html or game.html) in your browser.

Delete the images.sit archive file.

Download the
images.tar.gz
archive.
If you do not have gunzip or a similar decompression utility,
download the larger
images.tar
archive instead, and skip step 3.

Move the archive file into the directory containing the game files.

Use
gunzip images.tar.gz
to uncompress the file.
The file will be renamed images.tar.

Use
tar xf images.tar
to unarchive the file.
A subdirectory named Images
will be created.

Open a game file (fullgame.html or game.html) in your browser.

Delete the images.tar archive file.
