How does the play65 program work?

The two sites are working in a similar way, you download the play65 program (it took me less than a minute) and that's it! You don't have to wait for some java/flash based program to be downloaded into your computer. Just log in and you have access to more then a million users and more than 10000 play65 backgammon players almost every hour of the day! On both sites, play65 and gammonempire, you can enter many rooms, each one providing different opponents, you can enter tournaments and win thousands of dollars. You can play single games series games and even enter the play65 backgammon school.

It doesn't really matter. Either you are a beginner playing one of your first backgammon game, either you are a pro coming here to make some money; the play65 backgammon community have someone on your skill level to play against. The interface of the program is amazing - you can see that the people from play65 love this game.

The play65 is a very good site for backgammon game lovers. It is very friendly. It shares the most advanced backgammon game software I had the honor to review and it gives the feeling of the real thing including the sound and even a chat system (if you want to tell your opponent what you think about his last move…). The only problem with the play65 site is the lack of written articles – if you are a pro and you want to upgrade your skills, written articles can be very helpful.
